TSAVO EASTER SPECIAL
DAY 01: GOOD FRIDAY 21st
Depart Nairobi in the morning for one of the largest national parks in the world. Tsavo east and west combined is bigger than Jamaica and Wales in Europe. This is home to the big five and many more.
You will make a brief stop in tsavo west having a game drive enroute to mzima springs where more than two hundred and twenty million liters of crystal clear water filter down from Mt Kilimanjaro daily and thus provides water for Mombasa. Hippos, crocodiles and fish are in plenty. Birds too are prolific and there is an underground viewing point where you get a better view of what is happening under this crystal clear waters. You later head for lunch at the kilaguni serena lodge which was the first lodge to be built in Kenya.
After lunch you proceed on with the game drive and you will be having a quick visit of the rhino sanctuary in search of this endangered member of the big five before exiting the park through the tsavo river gate and later arriving at the voi wildlife lodge late evening. Dinner and overnight at the same.
DAY02: SATURDAY 22nd
Morning and early afternoon at leisure giving you a chance to utilize the 2 pools in the lodge or just indulge at the spa bar where the wildlife come to have a drink at the water hole or even work out at the gym(optional extra). Late afternoon you are invited for a game drive in tsavo east national park. You have two hours to explore tsavo east in search of the man eaters, the red elephants of tsavo and many more. Later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
DAY03: SUNDAY 23rd
Early in the morning after tea/coffee you depart for a game drive and later return to the lodge for breakfast. Having the rest of the day at leisure and later in the evening you are also invited for another evening game drive returning to the lodge in good time for a steam bath in the steam room or sauna (optional extra). Farewell dinner and overnight at the lodge.
DAY04: EASTER MONDAY 24th
Depart voi wildlife after breakfast or lunch (lunch not included) for Nairobi. You are dropped in Nairobi at a place of your choice with many memories and photos to share with family and friends.
